A few words from me.
FEDJA POROBIC / FOUNDER
Porobic Group started with my consulting work and a desire to help ecommerce companies grow. Then we grew too fast ourselves. I said yes too often. That lesson made me more selective about who we build with and the work we can actually deliver. My ambition hasn’t changed. I also want the people expected to reach our goals to have a fair chance of succeeding.
We don’t build for work-life balance. For us, work is part of life. We only get one life, and all the pieces have to fit together. That’s why we talk about life balance at Porobic.
Good ideas can handle a little pushback.
We want people to bring their own ideas and speak up when something feels off. When someone sees a better way to do the work, we give them room to try it.
Businesses we can stand behind.
We want to stand behind the products we sell and the businesses we build. We look for products that do some good for the people who use them or for the planet. The business needs healthy margins, customers who come back and founders who want to keep building with us beyond the next campaign.
We trust people to make the call.
We give the person who owns a problem the authority to solve it. If someone has a better idea, we change the plan.
We make plans that fit into a normal working week. New colleagues need time to settle in, and everyone should know what comes first.
